$12.90 Sandwich Maker

I went grocery shopping yesterday. While I was there I also bought a new sandwich maker which was going for only $12.90. It was an impulse buy (cheap though!) because I've never thought of buying one before until I saw it, but I'm really happy with it Smile

I love sandwiches, and having them toasted now is great. I'm hoping this will encourage me to cut down on ordering in even more.

    One of my best purchases years ago. We actually wore out the first one and are on the 2nd now.
    Great way to use up leftovers too.......just pop inside bread and toast. Applesauce is too yummy too!

    Also doesn't matter if the bread is fresh or not..once it is toasted, no one notices.

    thanks! using leftovers is a great idea Smile
    it helps that i like weird sandwich concoctions. one of my favorite things to do when I was little was to add crumbled potato chips in my sandwiches to make them crunchy

    Me too! Crunched up potato chips in sandwiches...especially pb and jelly.

    I love this site. Make's you think you aren't the only weird one out there! : )

    No, no, no bologna or ham and you don't crush the potato chips up before putting them on the sandwich. You put whole potato chips on the meat and put the mayonaised slice of bread on top and then press down hard! Thereby crushing the potato chips and smashing the bread into dough at the same time!

    Then you have to use your finger to get the bread that's stuck off the roof of your mouth!!!
